The right amount of dye is essential for optimal results. We recommend using the dye at a rate of 0.1% to 0.2% relative to the total weight of the wax. However, keep in mind that some vegetable waxes, like soy wax, may require an additional load to achieve a deeper color. It’s important to note that our liquid dyes are not suitable for use with gel wax. So be sure to use the right wax base for your projects.
